DRI is taking a leading role in the energy transition in Europe.
Our mission is to accelerate the reduction in Europe’s reliance on fossil fuels, and we have already established a portfolio of onshore wind and solar projects. At the end of 2023 we finished construction of our first solar park and windfarm, which are now exporting power.
To have the biggest impact, we target markets that are underserved by capital and renewable expertise, by a team with a long history in successful development and construction of major renewable projects.
As a Finance Manager at DRI, you will oversee all financial aspects of our operations in Romania. You will play a crucial role in ensuring financial health and stability, providing strategic guidance, and supporting the company's growth objectives.
What you will do:
- Managing Accounting and Tax Providers:
- Oversee relationships with accounting and tax service providers.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Financial Planning:
- Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
- Treasury Operations:
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs.
- Regulatory Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and authorities.
- Other Administrative Matters:
- Handle other administrative tasks related to financial operations, including procurement, contracts, and vendor management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- At least 5 years proven experience in financial reporting, accounting, management. Experience in the renewable energy or power generation industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements.
- Experience in Internal controls is preferred.
- Experience in treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Romanian and English, both spoken and written.
